This red is a Valpolicella Ripasso. Even with inexperience, I’m able to tell that its sweeter, fruity, and more fragrant. It’s rich in flavour but also smooth. If you’re somewhat familiar with reds, you may be able to distinguish a cherry tone in it. At a whopping $17.95 I would advise to hold out on this one, or at least until your career advances and paying that much for a bottle seems reasonable. Suitable for a classy night/fancy dinner/ as a replacement for the expensive bottle you accidentally borrowed from your parents over the weekend.
