July 11, 2014 – Review of: Luccarelli Primitivo

8.5/10 $10.40 Luccarelli Primitivo (Italy). An awesome wine at a great price, this has been my favourite so far, purchased many times, I reccomend it to anyone! Dark purple/red in colour. Really Fragrant: fruity/oaky/young/not ‘alcohol-y’. Tastes: somewhat dry, medium bodied, very flavourful but smooth and beautifully balanced. Imagine: party wine meets dinner wine. If you intend on enjoying a single casual glass during a work week, this wine may have other plans for you.
