July 30, 2014 – Review of: Penfolds Koonunga Hill Chardonnay

7/10 $14.95 Penfolds Koonunga Hill Chardonnay (Australia) Clear yellow gold colour. Fruity fragrance. Flavorful/fruity/ melon taste that fills your mouth. Not quite as crisp a finish as I would like with that much flavour. Had this with fish, but I think it would pair better with chicken, ham, or sausages on the BBQ (something w/mustard, as suggested by the liquor store). For the price, I probably wouldn’t purchase this one again. Their red wine was recommended to me, so I still plan on trying that! 🍷
