April 4, 2015 – Review of: McWilliams Hanwood Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

7.5/10 $14.85 McWilliams Hanwood Estate Cab Sauv (Australia). Dark ruby colour. Smells like sweet berry and hint of oak. Tastes different than it smells. Not really that dry. Medium bodied but doesn’t have a big edge to it. It’s very fruity tasting/lively, and easy to drink. I actually bought this bottle once last week, and went back for it again because there was just something about it that I just wasn’t finished with yet. So, although I’ve given it a 7.5, it’s a 7.5 very much work trying. I may even buy it again.
