September 23, 2018 – Review of: Lola Pelee Island VQA Rose

7.5/10 $14.95 Lola Pelee Island VQA Rose (Ontario). Pretty label and alluring blush pink colour 😍 Semi-sweet with a playful level of carbonation that I was not expecting. Taste that first hit the end of the tongue with flavours of apple and strawberry. There is an undeniable level of sweetness here (which would usually have me hesitating), however it was followed by a dry and tart element that brought balance and worked out nicely in the end… I reached for another glass👍 For that reason, I think this Rose has a broader reach of crowd-pleasing ability. Fun and refreshing on its own, perfect for a sunny day
