8/10 $13.95 Inniskillin Unoaked Chardonnay VQA (Ontario). I’m at the Cambridge Mill for a friend’s wedding this evening, and I must say that I am SUPER happy with this white wine that was offered, and also impressed with their choice of a Canadian VQA!
Yellow colour that reminded me of banana liquor. Dry and medium bodied. Initially I anticipated this to be a little sweeter but after a few sips it became apparent that this was dry enough for me. Crisp with apple flavours and hints of pear. Acidity level that I didn’t mind at all. Very enjoyable and easy drinking! Given the reasonable price and quality, I will probably even pick this bottle up from the liquor store at a later time!
