July 4, 2019 Review of: O’Leary Cabernet Merlot VQA

8.5/10 $14.95 O’Leary Cabernet Merlot VQA (Ontario). Ruby in colour. Deep plum, strawberry and oak on the nose 👃. Dry and medium/full bodied, with rounded flavours of smoke, blackberries, vanilla and oak.
I first received a bottle of this as a gift, and was so pleased with it that I insisted on repurchasing again asap. For some reason however, it was not as readily available at most liquor stores 🤔and was a little challenging to find.
When sharing a bottle with friends the second time around, their ratings ranged from 7.5 to 8… It is always so interesting to see how everyone’s opinions of the same bottle can vary!
Overall, I found the blend to be smooth with a plump array of flavours, and would buy again to enjoy on it’s own!
