October 25, 2019 Review of: Domaine Lafage Miraflors Rosé

9/10 $17.50 Domaine Lafage Miraflors Rosé (France). The prettiest delicate cotton-candy pink hue. Plenty of berry aroma reaching out of the glass. Very dry and medium bodied with medium acidity and flavours of cranberry, strawberry 🍓and watermelon🍉. Crisp lime and a hint of peach 🍑at the end.

This rosé was very impressive and checked off SO many of my boxes: No sweetness in sight, extremely smooth, and a clean finish. Also extra points for the frosted bottle which is super alluring and can be repurposed.

But perhaps most impressive were the beautifully layered flavours that were delicate and just downright delicious👅. Now, if this sounds too predictable, let me say that this glass also served up a little surprise bite👄just before the finish… so there was still something left to the imagination✨.

If this rosé could embody a feeling, it would be that spring-is-over/ summer-is-here / first-party kinda vibe 🌦☀️🎉

Overall, this one gets a big thumbs up from me and I will definitely be purchasing again soon. ✌🏻
