November 15, 2014 – Review of: Trapiche Malbec

8/10 $9.95 Trapiche Malbec (Argentina). Very clear, ruby in colour. Smells fruity. Easy, light and smooth. Refined cherry taste, with light acidity. Mild spicy finish. New-to-wine drinkers will be able to enjoy. I am always quick to try wines that are decorated with medals on the bottle. If the wine/winery has won multiple awards, it’s probably good and worth a try. And I have yet to disprove this theory! Get this one as a secret Santa under $10 gift, as it would likely please anyone on the receiving end.
