August 14, 2018 – Review of: Woodbridge Cabernet Sauvignon

7/10 $13.95 Woodbridge Cabernet Sauvignon (California). Ruby in colour. Smells ripe and bold. Tastes of raspberry, plum and liquorice. Definitely acidic with mild tannins, yet still smooth but not nearly as complex as the scent lets on… I was actually surprised that we had this bottle on hand as it’s not one I would typically buy now-a-days; we purchased this often when first getting into wines and really enjoyed it! So, I would recommend this one if you are just starting out. However, I feel like my palate has matured a bit from it, and for that – I will leave it in the past to enjoy others of the future! Onward and upward! 🍷
