September 15, 2018 – Review of: Alamos Cabernet Sauvignon

8.25/10 $15.95 Alamos Cabernet Sauvignon (Argentina). Deep ruby in colour. Smells of strawberries oak and smoke. Dry (not overly) and full bodied. This is a warm juicy red with tastes of cherries and undertones of dark chocolate. Level of acidity is tolerable. Easy going and smooth, but has enough body and character that it’s interesting. Great value for the price and a surprising grab by my partner. Have already repurchased this one twice to enjoy, so would defs recommend giving it a try!
