January 27, 2019 Review of: Gerard Bertrand Cote des Roses Rose

8.25/10 $18.95 Gerard Bertrand Cote des Roses (France). Soft pale salmon colour. Dry and medium bodied. Easy drinking and light with balanced flavours of strawberry, melon, apple, and a hint of citrus.
Also, the bottle is SUPER pretty with a rose chiseled into the bottom base. When I had first tried this Rosé a few years ago, the glass cork stopper was actually formed into the shape of a rose, so at some point they must have changed this to a flat top and opted for the rose base instead… anyway, I still love it!
It’s a friendly Rose with major aesthetic appeal, and would be a fitting addition to any upcoming Valentines/Galentines Day event in your calendar.
