August 12, 2019 Review of: Cavit Collection Pinot Grigio

8/10 $13.95 Cavit Collection Pinot Grigio delle Venezie (Italy). Very pale straw colour. Floral 🌸and apple aroma. Light to medium-bodied and dry. Nice rounded flavours of citrus 🍋and apple🍏followed by secondary notes of honey 🍯and minerality.
Typically I prefer a Pinot Grigio that is super light and glassy and goes down like water (LOL) ✌️… And while this bottle is overall pretty light, I did find it to have a bit more body. However, served chilled it actually offered a lovely texture and flavour profile that I much welcomed on such a hot day!
It perfectly complimented our afternoon patio vibes ✨and paired well with the tomato sausage pasta 🍝and spinach salad 🥗we enjoyed (although food-friendly enough that almost anything would do).
