November 11, 2017 – Review of: J.Lohr Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon

9/10 $23.95 J.Lohr Seven Oaks Cab Sauv (California). Deep ruby in colour. Sweet smelling, but tart aftertaste. Initial tastes of plum and spice followed by vanilla, and dark-berry velvety goodness. Typical cab sauv with a hint of oak, yet not overpowering. Found in the Vintage section of the liquor store, this red vino has a cult following and is notoriously delicious! Perfectly warming for a chilly girls’ cottage weekend 😉
