December 1, 2018 Review of: Matua Sauvignon Blanc

8/10 $17.90 Matua Sauvignon Blanc (New Zealand). Very fragrant with aromas of flowery peach and melon/lime. Fairly crisp and not too dry, with an underlying sparkle to it. It is more acidic than I am used to, which did somewhat affect my perception of the smoothness, but the fun flavours are just too good to deny! Tropical pineapple, citrus and apple are what I was able to pick up on, but there are many enjoyable flavours here.
I’ve purchased this white wine a few times before, mainly in the summer. It’s nice on its own for socializing, or with appetizer foods. I also love the look of this bottle 😍 gives me some #aquawoman feels!
